Sausage Sizzle to Celebrate Construction Commencing

• The communities of Poowong, Loch & Nyora are invited to join the celebrations

 Following the announcement that the Poowong Loch & Nyora Sewerage Scheme construction is commencing, South Gippsland Water will be holding ‘Drop-in style Information Sessions’ and a Sausage Sizzle on Wednesday 23^rd July at Nyora to celebrate with the community.

Managing Director South Gippsland Water said, “South Gippsland Water staff will be at all three towns next week to celebrate with the community and answer any questions that they may have. It is a great opportunity for residents to speak one to one with South Gippsland Water officers and seek further details regarding the scheme”.

Mr du Plessis went onto say that, “Information regarding the construction and connection process will be available including the reticulation pipework designs so that the community can see where the sewer pipes will be laid in their street”.

The Nyora Men’s Shed will help cook up the snags for the sausage sizzle and all are welcome to come and join in the celebrations at Nyora. However, for those who can’t make it Wednesday evening, information sessions will still be held in Poowong and Loch on Tuesday 22^nd July.
