Storages continue to drop – Korumburra Supplementary Supplies Activated

Rainfall recorded at South Gippsland Water’s storages from the 28th November to the 4th of December 2015 was Lance Creek 8mm, Ruby Creek 4mm, Coalition Creek 2mm, Deep Creek 2mm, Little Bass 4mm and Battery Creek 6mm.

Philippe du Plessis, Managing Director, South Gippsland Water said, “Given the warm dry conditions and forecast summer weather pattern, South Gippsland Water has now activated supplementary water supplies from the Tarwin River for Korumburra.  All storages continue to drop.  South Gippsland Water is encouraging customers to implement water saving behaviours”.

Make sure to;

  • Water during the cool – between the hours of 6pm and 10am
  • Check hoses have trigger nozzles and do not leak
  • Sweep, don’t hose, paved areas & hard surfaces
