Development in open potable water catchments
South Gippsland Water may be referred planning applications by municipal councils under the Planning and Environment Act when a planning application has the potential to impact on water quality in a Special Water Supply Catchment Area (declared under the Catchment and Land Protection Act), to prevent negative impacts on water quality used to supply treated water to towns and industry. Property connections
Each property owner is responsible for arranging and paying for the connection of their property’s water supply and sewerage (if services are available). This work must be carried out by a licenced plumber. Click on the button below for information.
