South Gippsland Water Celebrates International Women’s Day

Friday, February 24th, 2023

To celebrate International Women’s Day, South Gippsland Water wants to thank and celebrate all the incredible women across the organisation who play such integral components and have shaped the organization to what it is today.

Imogen Wilson-Kells, joined our Network Maintenance Team as a trainee in October 2021.

Over the last year and a half, Imogen has been rotating through different teams in the Network Maintenance Team. This has equipped her with a range of skills and insights in the duties involved in the operation of water, sewerage, pumping stations and customer connections – setting her up with a long career in the water industry!

“I have really valued all the learning lessons that have been thrown at me so far. What I have learnt is that no two days are the same. I’ve really enjoyed having the time to get to know each aspect of the industry, my favourite so far has been wastewater. I am excited to immerse myself in that area of work more in the future”.

Keep an eye out for any future traineeships on our website at sgwater.com.au/careers.
