Portable Drinking Stations
South Gippsland Water has a set of two portable drinking stations that connect to an outdoor or garden tap. There is a bottle refill station and a drinking fountain to provide drinking water to your community or sporting event.
Both units connect together and only require access to a garden tap connected to reticulated water supply. All other required fixtures and fittings are provided with the units.
The units are small enough to fit in the back seat of a sedan, so are extremely portable. Community groups and organisations can borrow the units free of charge. Contact us to check availability and to book. To complete the booking, organisations will need to complete and submit the below booking form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once booked, the units can be collected from South Gippsland Water’s Office in Foster or our Depots in Wonthaggi & Leongatha. Please nominate a preferred collection/return location in the booking form.
South Gippsland Water has a small trailer with taps each side that can be used at community events where no access to reticulated water supplies is available. The trailer is booked and collected/returned via the same process as the portable fountains, however customers wishing to borrow the trailer should note that they will need to have a vehicle with towball and sufficient ability to tow the trailer to their event. We also ask that their drivers licence is presented upon collection.
Once booked, the trailer can be collected from South Gippsland Water’s office in Foster or our depots in Wonthaggi & Leongatha. Please nominate a preferred collection/return location in the booking form below.
South Gippsland Water, as required for emergency or water quality incidents, keeps a stock of bottled water on hand. To ensure regular turn-over of water before use-by dates elapse, a small amount is donated to community and sporting groups. Should you have an event and a small supply of bottled water would be of use, please Contact us to make a donation request.
